1) Honking fervently will miraculously clear the traffic/or turn the red signal to green.

2) Managers should work for longer hours, because they are paid more.

3) If a guy doesn't cry after a break-up, he didn't really love her.

4) He’s arrogant and egoist because he doesn't talk much.

5) She has a loose character because she talks to everyone.

6) She was telling the truth because she had tears in her eyes.

7) If a guy owns an expensive bike, he belongs to a rich family.

8) Her friends in real life are equal to the number of likes on her FB dp.

9) He played really well four years ago, so he must play even after four years.

10) He’s flirting with me because he texted ‘hi’ / smiled at me when we came across.

11) I don’t like him, because my friends don’t.

12) I like him because my friends do.

13) He’s a sweet person, because he doesn't point out my mistakes.

Indians & Double Standards

On one hand we want new players to join the team, while on the other we don't let the old and ageing ones leave.

On one hand we credit the players for team’s victory, while on the other blame the captain for losing a match.

On one hand we don't care about religion when it comes to love, but when it's time for marriage, religion conversation becomes a must.

On one hand we call ourselves as secular, while on the other we vote for caste, religion and now newly for regional sentiments.

On one hand we protest for the right to kiss in public, but when it comes to fighting against corruption, we are just too busy.

On one hand we demand equality between genders, while on the other we demand special privileges for single sex.

On one hand we lecture each other about not being greedy or selfish, while on the other we measure a person with his earnings and success.

On one hand we want our salaries on time, but when it's our turn to be in office on time, we always have an excuse.

On one hand we defend the dark and often disturbing movies of Anurag Kashyap calling them as unconventional art, while on the other criticizing and insulting others like RGV.

On one hand we encourage the minority religious parties, while on the other we accuse PM Modi and BJP of being Hindu-ist. 

                                                                          

On one hand we scream creative freedom, while on the other we demean Chetan Bhagat for his work.

On one hand we wrote open letters, lengthy posts and never ending twitter hashtags for creative freedom, while on the other not a word is spoken about the death fatwa against writers and artists.

On one hand we defend the satirical and demeaning portrayal of Hindu gods calling it as creative freedom, while on the other we ban other creative works such as Satanic Verses for a similar reason.
